Last Weekend of the 2009-2010 ski sesaon !

Hi guys, hope you had a great week !

This is our last weekend together for this season !

Just a reminder that the BBQ will take place on Sunday. We will meet at the club for 9am to freeski until BBQ (around lunch time...hihi!)

As for Saturday:
1st years: Bermuda Open at Mount Snow with Cath
2nd years: Stowe open race with Nick

I will be back in Vermont tomorrow evening, you can always contact me by email or cell phone if you have any questions.

If you haven't confirmed yet, please let me know if you are attending any races

March 20-21st Training Program

Saturday March 20th:
1st year J3 and others that are not racing:
Slalom Training on Bunny 8am-10am - meet at the club at 8am

2nd year J3:
meet at the club for 8am ready to go for inspection (1st run forerunner please be there also)

Sunday March 21th:
1st year J3 :
Slalom Race @ Suicide 6 - Cath will be on site

2nd year J3 Girls:
Middlebury race - you will be working with the J2 Coach - name of coach to be confirmed saturday

2nd year J3 BOYS:
Sugarbush race - Nick will be the coach on site

This weekend training

Here is the schedule for this weekend:

Saturday March 6th: GS Bunny Buster 8:00am-10:30am - meet at club at 7:45am

Sunday March 7th: GS Open Race @ Stratton: both Nick and I will be there at the races.
If you are not planing on being there, you can have a freeski day with your family.

KSC J3 March Update


Hello Everyone !


hope you are doing well and you enjoyed the snow over the weekend.

It was amazing snow through out the week ! I want to again congratudulate everyone for their hard work this season.

THE SEASON IS NOT OVER !


There are a couple more races on the calendar if you are interested and training on specific dates.

For the 2nd year J3, there are races out there that can help you set your points for next year.

For the 1st year J3, the more races you do, the more experience you get under your belt.



This is this coming Sunday March 7th at Stratton - GS.

Tom, Nick and I will be there.

If you can confirm your participation in both training and races - that would be appreciated.

At this time of year, the team get divided in different directions and the staff need to be organised to cover where they are needed.

I would like to congradulate Michelle Martin for making the team to represent Vermont at Junior Olympics.They will be held on March 13th - 16th at Sunday River.

Good work guys ! The conditions in which we raced this weekend were not the easiest.
It was fantastic for you guys to make it into this championship and you must see it at a great achievement no matter the results.
Every opportunity to race, is experience under your belt.
And remember what Julie (Vara representative) said:
'National Team Members / Olympians don't all remember participating in States or JO'S in the J3 age group.'
It's what comes after J3 that is what you can focus on...if that is what you want.
